How to customize your games2gether URL

A games2gether (G2G) instance is deployed to a domain registered by the client. Linking the G2G platform to your domain is the first step to set up the platform. Share the domain name with your account manager, who will coordinate with our Dev team to bring your platform online.

If your website contains content that you want to remain separate from your G2G instance, it can be deployed to a subdomain. If you’re unfamiliar with subdomains, you can think of these as department buildings on a university campus: a part of the campus is designated and designed to meet a specific department’s needs, but it still relies on some of the functions and resources of the university. 

Note: “bigbangstudio.com” is a domain. “community.bigbangstudio.com” is a subdomain.

This process may require the input of your IT team in order to sync the DNS validation certificates, which ensures that users can successfully access your G2G instance when they enter the URL. Contact your account manager for further information.
