What are coupons ?

Coupons are a way to offer rewards through external distributors–Steam, the Epic Games Store, and xBox Game Pass–that are earned and awarded on the Games2gether (G2G) platform. Via the G2G Redeemer, coupons incorporate rewards into G2G’s gamification that are redeemed off-platform. One game reward can have a coupon linked for each active distributor.

A coupon is made up of keys that can be redeemed on a single distribution platform. Each key can only be claimed by a user with a community account and only be redeemed once. This ensures that keys are being used by individuals with a connection to your game. One coupon can have tens of thousands of keys. Additional keys can be added after all of a coupon’s keys have been claimed.

Coupons are flexible. They can accommodate a broad reward–available to a large number of users on all available distribution platforms–or be limited to drive traffic to a specific platform or to drive engagement in a certain time frame to claim a limited number of keys. Coupons can be managed to align with a specific promotion’s strategy and goals.
