What are IP and domain rules?

IP and domain rules add a verification step during account creation. They automatically block domains and IPs when a domain or IP is used to create a large number of accounts in a short amount of time. This is one of the ways that Games2gether (G2G) prevents spam and abuse. 

Note: IP and domain rules only apply to accounts created with the G2G Account System. 

Admins and Devs can add domains and IP addresses to an allowlist to bypass the automatic restrictions. They can also delete entries from the blocklist and move domains between lists. Read more about how to manage allowlists and blocklists here.
