What is a "reward" ?

A reward is an extra offered to users to incentivize certain behavior. It is one of the ways Games2gether uses gamification to promote engagement and community building on the platform. Rewards are assigned to a specific Universe and may require a user to unlock a specific badge quest.

Note: Rewards can also be limited release! Devs and Admins can specify a start and end date for any reward.

There are three types of rewards: games, comics, and digital rewards. Game rewards can be game codes from different publishers, including Steam and Epic Games, or redemption codes for in-game rewards. There is a range of options for comic and digital rewards. They may be any file type and can be downloaded from G2G. 

Note: The wallpaper digital reward has specific file requirements.

Users can find rewards on their “Profile” page under “Rewards.” If a reward is highlighted, it will be displayed larger than other rewards. There is also a carousel that displays game rewards labeled as “Full Game.” This is also where users will find rewards they earned by unlocking badge quests.

Devs and Admins are able to create and assign all three reward types - game, comic, or digital extra - through the back office.
